Become a Pilgrim of Hope in our World

Over these two day we aim to accept the invitation of Pope Francis, ‘to find suitable ways of … celebrating with deep faith, lively hope and active charity…the beauty of creation and care for our common home.’ It is possible to create a climate of change within ourselves by awakening beauty, truth and goodness and thereby creating new, vibrant ways of being in the world.

Pope Francis, in his letter (Letter of the Holy Father 11 February 2022) reminds us: “In the realization that all of us are pilgrims on this earth, which the Lord has charged us to till and keep (cf. Gen 2:15), may we never fail, in the course of our sojourn, to contemplate the beauty of creation and care for our common home.” During these two days we will explore creative ways of living HOPE in our world.

Sr Ann Morrison is a Sister of Joseph of the Sacred Heart, currently residing in the beautiful Blue Mountains at Katoomba NSW. Ann’s main ministry is Retreat Facilitation, Spiritual Direction and Adult Faith Formation. Ann endeavours to use educational, pastoral, scriptural and life experiences to develop more deeply her call to be aware of and utilise the activity of God in life to live more authentically from that space.
