Retirement for Mission Sabbatical

...stand on the shore of new invitation*...

Fully Booked   3 March - 8 April 2017   Fully Booked

This program is designed for women and men religious, who have recently retired from full time active ministry or intend retiring from such in the near future.

With good input from a variety of Australia-based presenters and Sr Maria Cimperman rscj from the United States, time for silence and contemplation, relaxation and optional activities and the company of peers, participants will have every opportunity to be nourished to embark on the next stage of their journey in the heart of God and to imagine new, and perhaps unanticipated, but real opportunities for engagement in the Mission of God – the shore of new invitation.

International Speaker

Sr Maria Cimperman rscj is the inaugural director of the Centre for the Study of Consecrated Life set up at Catholic Theological Union (CTU), Chicago, in 2015. The goal of the Centre is to dynamically engage in research and dialogue on contemporary issues in consecrated life today.

As a member of Giving Voice (women religious under the age of 50), Maria brings a post-Vatican II generational lens to the wider theological, pastoral and global concerns of religious life and a desire to respond to the future God is creating as we respond to God’s people and all of creation.
